There are many places to eat in the Philippines.  In the big super malls,  there are many restaurants.  McDonalds,  KFC,  Kenny Rogers,  Shakeys Pizza,  Jollibees,  Chowking,  Red Ribbon,  Goldilocks,  and other big chains dominate the scene.  Because of their Chinese,  American, Spanish and Malay heratige,  these foods naturally dominate the food scene.  These places are usually packed with Filipina women and Filipino men most of the time.

Of course,  there are many Filipino restaurants such as Mang Inasal,  Lydias Lechon,  Andoks and other Filipino companies that serve the public,  serving Filipino specialty foods.  Then there are the small eateries that dot every corner,  offering cheap,  satisfying meals on the go.  Every province is known for a particular specialty.  Even Starbucks and Seattles Best Coffee are popular places for Filipina dating. 

It seems the national pastime is eating.  Everywhere  you go you find places to eat.  Manila is a large cosmopolitan city,  that caters to every taste.  You name it,  they have it.  Just be prepared for a long siesta after a sumptious meal.
