Manila is a wonderful city.,  With over 12 million people in Metro Manila,  there is no shortage of things to see and do.  Ninoy Aquino Airport is a modern facility,  and a short taxi ride to all parts of Manila.  Manila has 12 mini cities.  The traffic is congested,  often taking 2 or 3 hours to get from on end of the city to the other. 

Makati,  the financial district,  is modern,  with many first -class hotels.  Some of the biggest malls in the world are in the Philippines.  Smog is a problem.  There are many fine restaurants,  and very good,  and cheap places to eat.  You can rent a van,  or taxi and take a day trip to the provinces.  Or maybe several days.  Fine beaches and  spectacular scenery are everywhere.  Sugar cane,  rice fields,  pineapple and banana plantations abound. 

 Manila is world famous for its night life.  Beautiful Filipinas cater to every mans needs.  Many internet cafes offer Filipina and Filipino dating sites so you can meet you future Philippine bride there.  The Filipinos are a happy people.    Very friendly too.  They all speak a little English,  so communication is not a problem.  Manila is an old city,  probably 1500 years old.  There is a lot of history here.  It is a mix of Malay,  Chinese,  Spanish,  and American cultures.  Manila is a unique city.  That is where it is called "the Pearl of the Orient".
