Because the Philippines has many provinces,  it also has many customs.  The Ilocos Region,  250 miles north of Manila is mostly inhabited by Ilocanos.  Cooking,  style of dress,  even their language is nifferent from thei brothers to the south,  the Tagalogs. 

Ilocanos compromise about 10% of the total population.  Manila and its surrounding provinces is mosty Tagalog.  Their cooking is also different,,  also their language and customs.  The Visayan Islands also differ,  having about 15% of the population.  Northern Mindanao spesks Visayan,  while the middle and southern parts speak their own language.  As in all provinces,  their are mini provinces,  each with their own subtlties.

The Filipinos are mostly a mixture of Malay,  Spanish,  Chinese,  and American.  That is why beautiful Filipinas are admired throught the world.  Filipino and Filipina dating websites are very popular.  Philippine women are smart,  good-looking,  thrifty,  conservative,  and loyal.  Thats why I married one.
